Gathering of weeds,
basking in the spring sunshine,
colonise footpaths.
Weeds
Author: N
Writer of all things, some of which are pretty good.
Skyscrapers
Unfazed by traffic
the giraffes in our cities
nibble on grey clouds.
Approval
Seeking approval,
looking demurely downwards—
three-cornered leek blooms.
Island
Forming tiny mounds
on shores of Rangitoto—
ocean laps away.
Flush
Tiny kidney fern:
flushing out bad vibrations,
helps earth breathe easy.
