Nervous

photo of a tree shedding its leaves in autumn

All over the place—
walking ball of nervous wreck,
autumn afternoon.

Peace

photo of the Flinders Ranges as seen from the Mount Remarkable Summit hiking trail

To be is to be
staring into the distance
atop a mountain

Traveller

Screenshot of the flight route map on an international flight from Melbourne to Singapore.

Halfway round the world
spotting clouds from in the air—
minuscule human.

Storytellers

Near invisible,
life between the crevices—
spiders spin stories.

Musical

a hiking trail with tall, slender gum trees on either side of it

Natural talent,
as rhythmic whisper of gums,
percussionists.
