Looking sickly pale,
slender bones, brittling in cold;
the flu gets trees, too.

Looking sickly pale,
slender bones, brittling in cold;
the flu gets trees, too.

We strive to control,
to twist nature to our will;
unyielding, it grows.

Enduring mother:
gathering leaves, harmless seems,
til she avenges.

Reflecting life, art,
as a leopard’s spots, imprints
colours in our minds.

Muddy and rocky
though life, like lake, at its end
swims pristine beauty.
