I gawk at the skies:
it peeks through wild canopies;
heaven in cities.
Peace
Endurance
Attempting to bloom,
spring putting on a brave face,
for winter’s last week.
Pop
Unpopped corn kernel;
rising anticipation—
early spring blossoms.
Shades
Perfect gradients,
masterclass in designing
stop—watch the flowers.
Stretch
Stretching its tired limbs,
waking up to face the world,
spring emerges, thawed.
