Shattered family,
barely staying together—
mothy cabbages.
Nevertheless
Not always wanted,
toxic for humanity—
climbing peas still bloom

Two peas in a pod,
complimenting each other—
two pods in a plant.

In my own trapped mind,
a sailboat in the distance,
ocean between us.
