A world of glitter,
opening eyes, horizons—
more precious than gold.
Value
Caffeine therapy
Bubbling to the top,
hot fury as frothy milk,
tamed by strong coffee.
Admittance
Rough edges, grim chasms—
existence is imperfect,
be out, believing.
Growing up
Peek-a-boo plays sun,
shunting doubtful clouds aside,
bright new day at work.
Resistance
Standing up to time,
butterfly-winged spring petals,
blooming in winter.
