Hiding in safety,
flowers, behind curtain leaves,
as child from mother.
Tucked away
Look up to no-one
Expecting a life,
waiting, for generations,
monumental fool.
Solitary soldier
Holding the fort up,
arms far and wide, reaching out—
one-tree neighbourhood.
Natural medicine
Cure for misery,
forgotten, as history,
field of greenery.
Reality, en route
Away from nature,
two roads diverged in the road:
the days of our lives.
