Labouring mother,
as pushing through the darkness;
winter birthing spring.
New life
Epiphany
Solution, turned cause;
unintended mutation—
spreading loneliness.
Unassuming
Such abundant joy,
hidden within modesty;
piece of art, nature.
Once soldier
Cast away: brother
in arms, galloping stallion,
now retired, showpiece.
Spring souvenir
A dark cloud, though small,
as jewel in a clear sky,
present for the earth.
