five hundred shades of surprise—
nature, as humans.

Moon’s day out
Sneaking from behind,
a kitten in a new house;
sunset moon through trees.
Innocent bystanders
Fresh, uncorrupted,
and bubbling with energy—
nature; toddler’s mind.
A tad better
Reaching far and wide,
like our politicians—trees;
except, constructive.
Circle of life
The sun and the moon—
one wanes; the other rises,
as tail chasing cat.
