Twisting on itself
the magic faraway tree,
poses for dreamers.
Dreamer
Contrasts
A common genus
of plants with purple flowers—
the rarest colour.
Slow day
Stretching lazily,
not quite springing out of bed:
old trees; cloudy days.
Better than gold
Stairway to heaven:
all that glitters is not gold,
just dew drops on grass.
Pretty
The nosy neighbour,
peering over our fences:
sweet wisteria.
