A drip here, drop there,
flowing with humanity—
water god descends.

Floored

As gust against waves,
ever-changing autumn leaves,
sweep you off your feet.

Vulnerable bud—
exposed in a garden bed—
a heart locked away.

Sky-bearing light house,

guiding wayward souls homeward;

motherly almost.
