Sunshine

Close up photos of bright yellow flowers on the footpath.

Cloudy winter day,
little bundles of sunshine
dotting the footpaths.

Sunned

Photo of a tall coconut tree on a suburban property, its top bent towards the direction of the sun.

Sways to the wind’s song,
suburban coconut tree
bows to the sun god.

The fall

photo of a suburban street with dissciduos trees on either side, with red leaves on their tops and leaves scattered on the ground

Streets full of red heads
shedding their coats all at once
city pipes gasping.

Remnants

Close up photo of a pink hibiscus flower with raindrops on its petals.

Last night’s rain lingers—
weighing down the morning sky;
hibiscus petals.

Good effort

Photo of a grey and cloudy sky with the sun mildly filtering through.

Showcases valiance,
winter sun amidst first rains,
attempting freedom.
