See

Close up photo of a mushroom surrounded by weeds, all with few drops on them. The photographer’s phone and head is reflected on the mushroom.

If you watch closely,
pay attention to the world,
you’ll be reflecting.

Missed

Panoramic photo of pine trees as seen from the forest below.

Pine cone on the ground,
looks up at the skyscrapers;
misses the forest.

Warmth

Photo of a path of luscious pine trees in the middle of a large area of sand by the beach.

Patch of greenery
in expansive sandy bay;
coffee on cold days.

Home

Photo of a tall tree, with spreading branches, stood by the footpath.

Stands unassuming,
in the middle of the path,
giant tree at home.

Lost

photo of a bush turkey walking on a wooden patio of a house

Tap tapping away,
native bird seeks lost shelter,
in a human world.
