Rings

Guess it’s the caffeine

That acts like morphine –

You’re calmĀ as a pup

Once you’ve had your cup.

Who needs diamond rings when you can have this?
Who needs diamond rings when you can have this?

When All Fails

when all fails

Words failed, so did the world.

There are a few occasions where everything fails, love beingĀ one of them. How hard is it when you’re facing The One? Just wondering.

Any thoughts?

As Told by Shakespeare

Marriage of two minds.

Epic rewritten.

~

As far as I know, the entire concept of marriage has been wildly violated. Problem is, most people ignoreĀ the only thingĀ that matters most inĀ wedlock: the minds.

We so often underestimate the power of well-matchedĀ thoughts. Successful marriages aren’t the ones that last foreverĀ just for the children’s sake, but real marriage of minds is what lasts even after a mutualĀ disagreement.

If only people’s minds were married instead of just the bodies, we mightĀ have a completely different society. Everything we do would have more clarity. We’d be a society of people who deeply understand and sincerely respect each other.

And that would beĀ a world worthĀ protecting.

Undying Love

He finished the letter in which he professed his undying love for her. Then he threw it away –Ā Today’s Author

With tears in his eyes, he wandered into the chilly February night.

Confused, his room-mate picked up the crumbled letter from wastepaper bin.

Over the next minute, countless thoughts ran amok in his head. He quickly copied the letter onto a fresh paper. Heaving a sigh, he threw the crumbled paper back into the bin, and strode away with the new letter.

And the next time the two room mates met, he was already engaged to her.

Love is sharing.
