Outside

close up photo of the dew drops on a broccoli leaf

I boldly venture;
dew drops on my broccoli leaves,
winter lingers on.

Workplace

photo of bright yellow soursop flowers on the ground, with the photographer's laptop visible on the foreground

Small yellow flowers.
scattered about my garden;
perks of the workplace.

Welcoming

Photo of a leafless tree with clouds in the background, and mild sunset colours.

Far-reaching dendrites
invite collaboration—
tree tops and rain drops.

Dance

Photo of a bonsai tree leaning to one side.

Owning the full stage,
limbs sprawled; ardent expressions—
bonsai stuns viewers.

Watch

Photo of the sun setting behind a group of trees, as seen through a window.

Peeking through bare trees,
an eye in the horizon—
tiredly the sun sets.
