Dull

photo of the afternoon sun barely visible from behind a scaterring of clouds

Scattering of thoughts;
water balloons in the sky,
cold, overcast day.

Prick

close up photo of the spikes of a cactus

Painful pricks cacti—
defence against the dark arts;
beauty of self-care.

Wake

photo of the pre dawn colours in the sky, with a few trees silhouetted

Silhouetted trees,
butter yellows, baby pinks,
sunrise; brave new world.

Folds

close up photo of a bunch of bougainvillea on the plant

Folded up petals,
origami in nature;
bougainvillea.

Breeze

Photo of the tops of tall trees, with one party tall and thin gumtree towering over the rest.

Tall model poses,

gently wind blows through her hair;

eucalyptus sways.
