Good effort

Photo of a grey and cloudy sky with the sun mildly filtering through.

Showcases valiance,
winter sun amidst first rains,
attempting freedom.

Chaos

Photo of a cat and a dog lying on the bed, facing away from the camera with the photographer’s leg visible on the left hand side corner of the frame.

We sit in silence,
contemplating the chaos
within each other.

Fallen

photo of a tree on the left of the screen and a layer of yellow leaves fallen on the ground

‘Tis the fall season,
a layer of ground cover:
leaves here; humans there.

Fired up

Photo of the sun rising from behind the clouds.

Unmistakably,
firing up the big engines,
glowing, sun rises.

Storm

Photo of dark clouds gathering on a beach, with a small group of surfers in the distance standing on the shore.

The surfers convene:
brewing up a thunderstorm,
shady clouds gather.
