Brave new world

photo of the silhouette of non-native trees

Migrating species
head of curls, ideals new
landscapes so diverse

We remember

closeup photo of a tree bark focussing on its peeled outer layers

Scarred marred unfettered
a lifetime’s worth of antics
muscle memories

Blossoming

photo of a couple of small, leafless trees on a luscious green nature strip

All sprawled out around
young child picnicking with friends
treelings await spring

Uncontrollable

close up photo of tiny flowers and sunshine streaming through a hole in a wooden fence

Breaking barriers
defying laws of humans
springing out, sunshine

Replenish

image of a group of gumtrees with the sunlight on them

Raindrops on parched rocks
splash of sun on winter stumps
healing from within
