Perseverance

close up phpto of a strawberry on a bush, with a slight reddish colour

Striving to bring joy,
pushing through compacted earth—
gardener, garden.

Race

photo of a plane in the sky with a tail heading out of the top right of the frame, with a large tree's leaves just visible on the top right of the frame, the sunset mildly glinting throug the leaves

Chasing endlessly
towards fading horizons—
paper plane humans.

Dare

close up photo of the buds of a cactus plant, growing horizontally

Young person fury:
confident cacti offspring
defy gravity.

Carry

photo of the railway tracks in an Adelaide suburb, with jacaranda trees in bloom on either side of the tracks

Slicing through landscapes,
reminding our histories—
steel carriages.

Exchange

Close up photo of a Sanyo television sitting on an old table along with an ol sofa and a few other things, cast outside the front door of a house, as hard rubbish

Old idiot box,
cast away for a smart one,
modern family.
