Bark as bold as brass,
the bald and the beautiful—
winter-cloaked gum tree.

Wishful
Wouldn’t world be better—
if the silver we pine for,
are gum trees only.
Wintervention
Fireball in the sky,
showering the world with sparks,
warm up for winter.
Never judge
Covers can mislead:
rugged blemishes on trees—
life indicators.
Fall
Dangling on tree limbs
twirling, swinging, tormenting—
leaf, watching husky.
