amongst resilient weeds,
perseveres a rose.

Inside all of us,
hollow spaces full of void—
we are bamboozled.
Treasure
Hidden balls of gold—
scattered throughout my garden—
edible treasures.
Shine
Mustard lettuce plants,
shine bright as they go to seed—
compete with the sun.
Canvas
Tall dark and handsome,
clumper of bamboos await
human graffiti.
