Pregnant, the pillows
sun land’s winter coverall,
hung over city
Cloudy
Pregnant, the pillows
sun land’s winter coverall,
hung over city
Pregnant, the pillows
sun land’s winter coverall,
hung over city
As honoured authors
storytellers are readers
handing down loved books
Insides hallowed out
as dent in a volcano
barren, you left me
I’m travelling for work, and so for the next few days, I’ll be posting haikus from places I stumble on.
Sandy sunscreen
straw hat of dust
a coat of gravel
covering all
wanders womanย
uphill.
Face to the sky
defying weariness
denying defeat
digs feet down
desperateย
for peak.
Mean rebel
uncontrolled
know-it-all
unmarried still
questionably so
treks solo.
Runs away
plain after plain
to send back
pain after pain
as parental hopes
finds noose.
Beams wide
atop mountain
brighter than light
from within
comes peace
with freedom.
