Habits

Photo of a person’s hand scrolling through the phone, while the person’s sat in the driver’s seat of a stationary car. The morning sun amines into the car, onto the person’s hand.

Morning ritual:
syncing music on Bluetooth—
sun smiles down at us.

Another

Photo of the sun setting behind a tree with a jet’s white trail visible in the sky.

As the sun retires,
a shooting star emerges—
another spring day.

Eye-opening

We’re one with nature:
superb summertime sunsets,
through Venetian blinds.

Joy

Raining down blessings,
brightening up pepper trees—
summertime sunshine.

Day after

Peering through the trees,
promising a better day—
sun after the storm.
