At first sight of warmth,
wattle pops in full colour—
bursting into song.
Bursting
Author: N
Writer of all things, some of which are pretty good.
Spring
Budding garden poised:
hands bowed in pious prayer;
safe home to microbes.
Consistent
The mature rise up;
learning is perennial—
the young ones watch on.
Distracted
Immersed in life’s joys,
surrounded by potted plants—
I forget: work calls.
Unrestrained
Weekly team meetings;
clouds seldom contain the sun—
fireball in my throat.
