As the sun goes down
a deadhead rose arises—
end of an era

nip those rouge weeds in the bud—
garden maintenance.

We’re just tiny specks,
a world of ocean around—
crow shit in windscreen.
Moonshine
Polar opposite—
counterbalancing solar,
lights up the night sky.
