Short sighted

photo of an open valley with heavy cloud cover and a mild fog in the distant mountain range

Funny, this climate
it’s all lush and green nearby

sprawled branches of a gumtree with clouds in the background

Specks of milky dust
nestled between brown bristles
sun shines through branches

photo of a cobweb on a window pane during sunset

Fingerprints of time
spreading veins, taking over
my ignored window
