The Time Factor

“No one can see the future,” some say.

But what if you could?

We’ve all have that fantasy: To know the future. How we’d be fifteen years from now. Where we’d live. Whether Trump would become president, whether ISIS would conquer Europe, or whether J.K.Rowling would write a part nine of Harry Potter. On a warm night, when you’re gazing at the dark sky studded with stars, you can’t help but wonder…

But then, sometimes you don’t need a summer night and glittery stars. Sometimes, just the clocks would do.

Look Out

When I leaned over from my seat trying to catch a glimpse of the sight outside, people thought I had gone mad. Who would stare out the solid glass while flying above the clouds?

I would.

And only because I was clinging to the window shade that I could see more than I could grasp in one look. Good thing I had my camera.

One True Love

one-love

Over the years, I’ve fallen in and out of love with so many things, so many times. But no matter what I declared my love to, I always came back to came back to tea and biscuits.

Something about that pair, something about the way the biscuit crumbles in my mouth and the tea washes down all my problems, along with the biscuit’s buttery remains  — it’s my one true love.

The Other Kind of Harmony

harmony

For a brief period in my life, I learnt music. But then the teacher showed such obvious favouritism to some students that I ended up hating her class.

I should have joined another music class elsewhere.

Because I didn’t, I had to resort to making harmony from trees and lamp posts.

Mindful Moments

state of mind

Coffee is all about being in the right mind. And in the early morning, looking down from 12th floor at miniature figures rushing to start their day, coffee is all that is in my mind.
