Life goes on… as it never ends

Living. No Life

The city was crowded. There was the hum of people, walking dead. Joy was long gone. Now there’s only survival. And money.
She was at work. Watching the outside world, burning with greed. An airplane took off from the airport nearby. People walked by. Nothing changed.
People lived. No life.

  1. This story is very deep and poetic. The first time I read it, I had a sense that this was a future society. Though, reading it again, I realized I’ve looked at life this way before. The last line was especially powerful. Well done!
