A Piece of Advice

tart
Better be brisk,
it’s a huge risk.
Grab a breather —
be a clever player.
Don’t get overworked —
specially not soaked.

finders keepers
creepers crawlers.
Go hide yourself,
behind a shelf.
Wait, remain patient
or become a patient.
‘cos he’s fierce —
loves to pierce,
a hole in your heart
if you touch his tart.

I didn’t realize it was National Poetry Month already! I will occasionally publish what I like to call poetry, but if you’re doing this #NaPoWriMo thing, let me know. I’d love to read your work!
